About Us

Leone's has been in the power sports business since 1969. We pride ourselves in having the customer experience you deserve, including great prices, great service, great products, and great people. We have everything you need for a great ride, and our service department has factory trained and certified technicians, a fully stocked parts department, and the largest selection of in-stock clothing and accessories for your machine. We built a new facility in 2009. If you have never been here, it's definitely worth the trip.

A bit about our history:

Leone's was started in the mid '30s as a small grain elevator and feed mill by Grandpa Schwab. He operated the business until his death, and H.J. (Bud) Leone purchased the business from his mother-in-law around 1950. Bud expanded the business during his years here, and still comes in a few days a week. He maintains a desk at the grain elevator to keep his eye on things and talk with his friends both old and new. In the '80s Mike and Jim Leone took over the operations, and Brian and Jason Leone started working with us when they were in high school, making this our fourth generation as a family owned and operated shop.

In 1969 Bud needed a chainsaw, and got in touch with the Homelite Company. A salesman stopped over to try and talk Bud into becoming a homelite chainsaw dealer. He had no interest in selling chainsaws, but the salesman had a snowmobile in the back of his truck. Bud had an old schoolhouse set up as a shop, and the mailman and two farmers were there to take a ride on that sled. Bud said he wanted one, the salesman said OK, but if you buy four you can get a dealer discount. Bud, the mailman, and both farmers bought the machines on the spot and Leone's was an instant snowmobile dealer. Bud sold a few a year until 1973, when Polaris bought out Homelite's snowmobile operation. We have one of the first Polaris snowmobiles we sold on display in our showroom. The rest is history.
